Paul VieiraPaul Vieira is chief engineer. He joined SPS in 1998. With more than 35 years of custom crate and packaging design under his belt, Paul is our resident “rock star” when it comes to packaging. As with many celebrities, his design techniques are in demand. He collaborated to create woodencrates.org, a Web site dedicated to wooden crating, and has authored many crating and packaging manuals for Fortune 500 companies. He was educated at San Jose State University.
Jerrell BertolucciJerrell Bertolucci assists Jay Oh in customer service. She recently joined SPS in 2010 as assistant to the general manager, but has taken on a variety of other projects including Auto-CAD design and coordination of on-site packing jobs. Jerrell spent the past 15 years in the high-tech industry assisting several high-level executives and general managers, as well as studying bio-technology and graphic arts. She holds a B.A. in liberal arts with a minor in business from California State University, Hayward
Nicholas ChinNicholas Chin assists Paul Vieira in wooden crate design. A recent graduate from University of California, Davis with a double major in psychology and philosophy, Nick’s sharp intellect is quickly translating into innovative packaging ideas. We like to think he’s adding “psychology in a box” as he offers a fresh perspective to challenging designs.
Melissa GoodallMelissa Goodall is the first person you’ll speak with when calling SPS. She is our receptionist/accounts receivable/accounts payable representative. Although she wears many hats, her first job is making sure your needs are met. She’s not afraid to jump up from her seat, run out to the warehouse and find an answer to your question. She attended the University of Northern Colorado where she studied instrumental performance, focusing on violin. We promise, she won’t pull your strings! Okay, maybe just a little.
